Who's good with trains? (In london!)

OK so I'm looking at getting to Kings Cross station. Is this the same as Kings Cross St. Pancras? If so I know I can get on the met. line from watford but if it's not some directions would be great!!!

 

Hrm. I remember being at a pub of some sort right next to the King's Cross station a few years ago when I visited a friend of mine in London. Don't remember much else though, it was my 5th pub of the afternoon. I think I had a Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout though.

gosh the underground just keeps getting so much bigger. have they run out of colours yet? i used to know my way 'round it blindfold. (or blinddrunk lol). post some pics of london while you're there plz

Is it that St Pancras is the tube station connected to Kings Cross which is the big ol' outdoor one? I know I was there once and it confused seven shades of heck out of me.

 

There are four stations in one complex:St. Pancras, King's Cross Mainline Station, King's Cross Thameslink and King's Cross Underground Station but if you look at the map link I posted earlier they are all on the same site, bit like an airport has mutiple terminals and you can walk between them. The King's Cross Underground Station serves the underground....all the others are main lines running above ground and out of the city center limits. They are simply given different names to help indicate where the different lines run from/to.

 

So.....how did it go?? We've hardly had a peep out of you since. That either meant it went terribly, terribly well, or you took her home and she stole your computer

 

Sorry really busy with stuff at the mo, had a 5 hour band practice last night and I crashed out at 9 I was so tired. When we get some recordings I'll post them on the net for you guys.
Which means I haven't had time to see the mrs yet either....
