Why Am I Required To Reinstall Ms Silverlight Every Day?

    The same error message appears every day when I attempt to watch Netflix. It's a minor inconvenience but I would like to correct the problem. It does not appear if I go to YouTube or other video sites.

    Don, that is a relatively old post. But Netflix is saying they will replace Silverlight in the near future. Which browser are you using?

    Have you tried using Chrome? News says Netflix has dumped Silverlight and it plays fine on Chrome.

    I use the H.264 video codec works fine with out flash or silverlight.

    Thanks Tim. I'm using FF 55.0.3. Maybe I'll try Chrome. I'll report back. Thanks again.

    Like wile e coyote I use the H.264 video codec that's automatically installed in Firefox.
    It works fine with Netflix.
    The Silverlight and Shockwave Flash plug-ins are not activated.
