Why am I still logged on to MG!

From Ubuntu (logged in) to Win7 (logged out) over an hour and counting. Why am I still here? Was waiting for a while for a query, I responded to. For all one knows the OP has logged out ages ago! Here's the Win7 screenie

Hmm, I am dual booting Ubuntu and 7. I was logged in in KK and I rebooted to 7.
Maybe I need to clear 7 with CCleaner. But this is a the time out issue never was like his before - Is this actually an accurate reading on current traffic

Edit to Add: I was refreshing and waiting for me to vanish!

 

As long as you don't have to re-register...?

 

silvik, Ubuntu never logs me out of any online Forum unless the window is closed. I can be logged in on one machine and if I go in the living room to hop on the laptop, I am logged in still.

 

BOOM, I Restarted and chose 7 from Grub.

 

Had a woman like that once. Didn't want to let go.rolleyes:-D:wave

 

That is interesting, as I have wondered how someone could be "logged in" and supposedly replying to a thread, and I wait and wait, and after an hour goes by, I check, and still, they are supposedly replying, and yes, I refreshed the page, but no answer until the next day... Interesting... Next time, especially when I am helping someone in Software, it looks like they are 'there' but they are not.. Weird.. rolleyes

 

several times TeeCee has logged off but yet her name is still in the active members list. This is the third time that I have noticed this. The last time I noticed it I mentioned it to her and said she logged off hours before the time I told her.
It doesn't happen all the time and I haven't seen it with anyone else. I use FF.

Spooky TeeCee you might have ghosts in your house :eek logging back in for you when your not watching or when your :zzz Booooooooo !!!! LOL

 

No ghosts here Rusty, but I sure do get a LOT of notes, why am I up at all hours, here... I have NO idea, maybe it takes a while for the system to notice me gone, OR it just plain thinks I am still here.. rolleyes

BT, I went straight to bed, and was catching some nice :zzz Maybe hrlwo2 has a point, there! LOL

Plus, I unplug my puter when I go to bed, so even IF the cat was trying to log in, wouldn't do her any good...... Sure is weird, but at least I am not the only one....:-D Hey BT, I NEED my :zzz Lost too many nights, and now I am playing catch up!
