Why do we love SSDs?

    This is why.

One seven letter word after 2 "months". Probably means I have at least 2 1/2 more years of "real time" operation. That feature actually reminds me of the chronometer on an engine...

Similar picture here after 37 days uptime. Less concerned about longevity because I managed to stretch to a Crucial M4 ;). Very impressed that I'm saving time not having to recall what I was supposed to be doing while waiting for a program to open any more :) Even on SATA2, this thing is fast!

Wow! Nice. I have thought about purchasing a SSD. Now, I know the potential. Kudos!

Quick as crap! is what they are and I have 2 in Raid0 on my desktop PC at present..... OH I love SSDs.

I have used SSDs since the early revisions and now use the older SSDs I have as large USB Pendrives, perfect large storage drives.

Yeah Dave, S.S.D.'s are pretty awesome, i.m.o. And the U.S.B. drives are ideal for carrying around client files, anti-malware, essential tools, etc. A 'must-have' for a tech.:major

Indeed Barry, any older SSD not used in a PC is a perfect medium for carrying around all sorts of tools as the space is huge on them opposed to USB pen drives.

I have used one for a backup drive for my desktop as its not going to be damaged like a HDD when moved or knocked around.
