    ThinkPad running Win11Pro fully patched (Win and Lenovo) connects to local router fine then after a few minutes slows down and starts dropping packets. Doesn't happen with other devices on the router. Router (has latest updates) and Xfinity modem in bridge mode, both rebooted. Laptop rebooted, cache and DNS cleared. IP on DHCP. Nothing indicating error in event viewer. Device manager shows no error. I disable and enable wi-fi to get back to normal but it doesn't last. Ideas? TIA

    Hi :) Wild guess; Windows updated your WiFi driver recently, if it's a 'Killer' brand, I think the advice has been to download and install the plain Intel version of the software/drivers, else try reverting to the previous driver. Another alt. is to install a version offered by Lenovo.

    I was having issues with my Wifi router.It was about 4 years old.If you have plume i would probably call your ISP to replace it if it's more than 4 years old.

    I was getting dropped issues as well.

    I all so have the intel as well and reinstalled windows multiple times.

    I'm on Comcast 1GB+ and my cable modem is < year old

    I'm getting request timed out from that IP as well.

    Try
    ping -n 30 2607:f8b0:4002:c1b::64

    My problem is not consistent as stated in my original post. I can't ping 2607:f8b0:4002:c1b::64 but that is irrelevant.

    Comcast has all ways had issues.Might want to call the IT department and have them check.There could be an issue down the line some where.That's how i found out i was having wifi router issues.I did the same thing.

    I am on Armstrong cable.

    It's only happening on my laptop so I don't think it's an ISP issue.
