Wierd Behavior

Greetings to All!

Got a problem with youngest daughter's computer. She did not tell me her Norton was dead. Kept using. Just finished online scans after disabling restore. Score: 58 Spybots, 2 Rootkit Hacking Tools, and six viruses.

I got involved because 'puter was rebooting every minute or so. Oddly, once I got online scans started, it would cease rebooting, until restart. After all the cleaning, it still reboots.

My question: Could any of these malware have corrupted any file(s)? If so, could anyone suggest a course of action to find and repair the damage?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you still have some bad files in there. If you would like help, please follow the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST paying attention to the information which applies to her operating system. Then post the requested logs to us so we can check them.
