Wifi Connecting Problem

    Laptop won’t connect to hotel WiFi, but smart phone has no problem connecting to hotel’s WiFi. I can’t even get to the screen requiring the password, and I have connected to many different WiFi networks with the laptop. Here’s what I have tried. Cleared cache in Chrome, insured IP & DNS were set to Automatic DHCP, “Forget” hotel network and re-booted laptop. Still can’t connect.

    Does the WIFI say you're "connected" but you're not going to the portal to "log in" for Internet access?
    Connect to the wfif> Open a browser and in the address bar try 4.4.4.4 and see if it will kick you to the portal.
