    hi all
well i have a few xp pc's networking ok but one PC is on a separate wifi device because of its location and no cat5 ports

problem is it can't share files because its address is in the 192 range while the lan router is in the 10.1. range.

whats the workaround for something like this? any ideas?

Is the adapter configured to obtain an IP address automatically? Look in properties of adapter and in the TCP/IP properties.
Alternatively you could set a static IP address in the correct range.
