Hi all. Long time Major Geek, many years since I posted.

I have a Windows 10 / Phoenix OS dual boot set up on an old HP Pavilion G7 laptop. When in Windows 10, wifi works as expected, averaging 40-50 MB/s on both upload & download. Boot into Phoenix OS, and the wifi then averages 4-6 MB/s on both, with nothing else changing beyond the reboot (laptop doesn't move, etc).

I'm basically trying to repurpose the laptop as a media center rather than run an Android emulator such as Bluestacks...been there, done that. Are x86 Android forks just poor at managing wifi compared to Windows?

A google search brings up tons of potential issues with Android phones, but not much for x86 Android OS variants.
