will different ram help

    i have a gigabyte ga-7n400 pro2 motherboard, amd 3000xp processor. and 512 of pc 2700 ram. would it be better to upgrade to a better or faster ram, would this make any difference. running win xp pro.am just about to ad a geforce 6600gt 256mb vidio card.

    Well yea more RAM is always good & faster is even better. The only other CPU you could go to is the 3200+ with the 400mhz FSB, which would allow you to run PC3200. Get at least 1gig & make sure it's Dual-Channel. I beleive you would see a nice difference in performance.
