I have a Windows 2003 server at my office and I need to change the static IP address, how do I release and renew it?

A static IP does not get released & renewed - it is 'hard wired'
    Dynamic IPs can be changed.
So do you want to change a static IP?
Go to Networking, do properities on the adapter, select TCP/IP and click properities - its there
