Have been running in safe mode just so I can access the internet so I can get instructions to get rid of Win 7 Defender Plus. I ran through all the steps of spyware removal except I messed up on the Hitman Pro -- the last steps didn't get ignored.

If you are able to help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Additional information to add: I am unable to find the Win 7 Defender Plus process in Task Manager, nor am I able to find it in Add/Remove Programs. The thing is there -- I cannot find it to remove it.

You need to attach the log from running MGTools.exe --> C:\MGlogs.zip

My bad, here's the log. When I ran MGTools again, the message told me to go to: C:\MGTtols\GetUnKey.txt Is this correct?
Seems I still don't have the right thing. Still searching for the log.

Finally. I was overthinking this thing. Here's the file.

    Thanks.

You need to run CCleaner and clean out your temp folders!

Use windows explorer to find and delete:
    C:\Users\House Computer II\Documents\Win 7 Defender Plus 2013 malware uninstall guide.docx
    C:\Users\House Computer II\Documents\Win 7 Defender Plus 2013.docx
    C:\ProgramData\6o4v7yr6ikfw18072u

Now download the latest version of MGtools and save it to your root folder. Overwrite your previous MGtools.exe file with this one.

It appears that you may not have accepted the license agreement for TrendMicro HijackThis when you ran MGtools. Did you see this license agreement popup? Did you click the Accept button twice?

    Attach the new C:\MGLogs.zip.

    I downloaded and ran CCleaner.

I deleted the files you indicated.

Here is the new MGTools log.

As far as the HijackThis license agreement, I did see the popup and clicked it once. There was not another opportunity to click a second time. Did I miss something there? Thanks.

I am not finding any malware in your logs. What issues are you still having, if any?

Actually, my issue may have cleared up.

I haven't seen the Win 7 Defender Plus popup since running all the spyware removal processes 2 days ago. Thank you for looking a bit deeper -- just in case.

This was my first time posting an issue to the forum and I will come back if I have any other issues.

    Good to know.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. You can uninstall RogueKiller and HitManPro.
    2. Go back to step 4 of the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista or Win 7, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders
related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link
