   With WINDOWS 7 The INSERT/OVERSTRIKE key doesn't work with NOTEPAD
   The key always remauns in INSERT. It works normal with WordPad:confused
   Is there a fix for this (on the way)?

   Hi
   
   it's a feature that notepad doesn't have and iirc has never had, just checked in an XP machine, basically notepad is a very barebones word processor left over from DOS days, for a better functional word processor Wordpad or an alternative is best option (MS Office or Open Office)
   
   there won't be a fix as nothing is broken.
