Win 8 Windows Explorer Auto-Start Problem

    My Windows 8 Lenovo G505 laptop has an annoying problem with
    Windows Explorer:
    When the laptop is running on AC power, every time the laptop is
    turned on Windows Explorer automatically starts at Libraries.

    When the laptop is running on battery power Windows Explorer
    does not auto-start.

    Does anyone have suggestions on cause and correction to stop
    the auto-starting...?

    I'd greatly appreciate your help.
