WIN Media Player "Issue"

I searched here on this - to no avail.

When I attempt to play music from my WMP library, I will usually right-click, and select; "Play All" to listen to the entire/complete CD which I have ripped to the machine or downloaded.

Lately, when I do this, that ONE song will play (normally the first in the list of tracks I wish to hear, and which I have right-clicked-on), but after that song plays, the next song could come from ANYWHERE in the library, and so on, with each successive song/track...in other words, WMP "jumps-around" ... ALL OVER the place !(?) !

Anyone have any suggestions on this, please?

Hi Glenn,

I don't use WMP but these are the instructions for WMP11. I think you have to find the shuffle button while in Now Playing mode and click it to turn off shuffle.

Which version of WMP are you using?

I will look over your attachment here, and thanks again for it.

Already I see that both "Shuffle" and "Repeat" were "On" in my program, so, that very well could be the problem (I didn't realize they were on??) and I have now turned them "off".

The "Highlighting" of them when "On" is not (in my opinion) very obvious...the good folks in the MP division of MS/WIN might wish to take a peek at that...?

By-the-way, this is my Vista machine, not mom's XP...
