I am running windows 7 32 bit. Whenever I open internet explorer and go to a page with pictures, each picture gets copied into windows media player

This is strange! Maybe it is some IE option that copies images into Windows media player. What version of Windows media player do you have?

    Hi

Not come across that one before as you'll have the default WMP12 as you have Win7 (unless you have installed an older version of the standalone WMP), so a few questions:

    1. Do you have a screen capture application installed?
    2. Do you have a different media player application you have set to default? if so what?
    3. Use CCleaner's cleaner tool to clear your Cookies and Temps.
    4. Reset IE by going to Tools > Options > Advanced tab and clicking Reset at the bottom.

I am not sure what version of media player I have. Where do I find it. The answer to both your questions is no
