WIN XP Freeze

I havent made any new hardware changes to my system. I am having problems with my computer. I will turn it on and it will start loading up.

I am using a 2.6ghz amd processor
1 gig of memory
Asus 7nx Deluxe motherboard

When it loads up the Windows Xp it will freeze while loading up the bar and just sit their and wont let me go into windows. I tried safe mode, booting last known configuration and no luck at all

 

Have you tried going farther back into your restore points?

 

I cant even get into windows to get the chance to do a system restore. It freezes while booting up.

 

Coupla simple things.Check that no floppy or cd are inserted.If none,try turning your pc power off at the wall socket for thirty secs.

 

Does it actually boot up in Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Command Prompt?

Do you have a Windows CD? (not a recovery CD but a proper Windows CD)
