Win10/64 Computer: Winmount Only Installed Partially

Hi! I have a new computer at a day program, and while it works, it's slow, and I'm having a problem installing WinMount: the icon and class name are correct, but the menu items and TOC don't appear. I tried to disable the context menu, restart WinMount then reenable the menu, running WinMount in Administrator mode both times, but that didn't work. What could cause this, and how can I fix this?

From looking around there is nothing good about that abandoned software, maybe look at https://www.winarchiver.com/
Open most popular archives and disc image files
    Create zip, 7z, iso files
Mount archives and disc image files as virtual drive
    Convert archives format

I just downloaded it. :) Thank you. Does it produce a better compression ratio than WinMount?

I tried WinArchiver, but it didn't seem to have its own file format, and, when I compressed a test folder as .7z and tried to mount it, WinArchiver said I need to upgrade to Pro to use the feature.

Let me see if uninstalling then reinstalling WinMount will help.

    It didn't. :(

I found my problem!: I was using a 32-bit version on a 64-bit computer. I downloaded the 64-bit version, and now it works properly. :)

I tried the Mount New Drive option and got the Browse window instead. :( Compressing works properly, though.

I don't use this particular software but, if a "browse" window opened, it may be giving you the opportunity to mount a drive in a location of your choice.

I'd better look for one today, but I don't think I should have to. Thank you.

I didn't find one. :( While trying to get it to work, I created a batch file that calls WinMount to mount an archive file, and the line that calls WinMount did nothing. The next line. a PAUSE statement, did something, though. I have a copy of the batch file and can post it here if anybody wants.

I pretty much need WinMount to work, because I have a lot of floppies whose contents are compressed using WinMount.

I can create a batch file to decompress a WinMount archive file, wait for me to finish using the contents then recompress if desired and delete the temporary files, as that functionality seems to work. I'd rather not, though.

I forgot to mention, but yesterday, I implemented the batch file fix, and it seems to work, but I didn't test it out on a floppy yet.
