Hi! I have successfully added options to .prg files to run Exomizer from batch files, but when I use these options, Windows 10 prompts me asking how to open the file. Why? I want to run an alternate program with the file but not all the time. Just this one time. Any help would be apppreciated.

BTW, if you want, I can post the registry dumps here.

You have to right click the executable and use Open With.

I right-click the file and see the menu option I want. I don't want to use Open With as I want to perform the operation quickly and easily. If I choose Open With, I need to hunt down the program which is not what I want.

You could change the default file association but the file would always then use that program. There will be a way to do what you want but I don't know it.

Make a short-cut to the program in its' own directory. Then copy the short-cut to an easily accessible location. Now use open with and uncheck 'always use this....' and chose your short-cut.

Yes, but I prefer to use the Shell's menu to run the program on a file as a command. Besides that, the program is to help others, not just myself.
