Hi! I recently installed a RAM drive on my Win11/64 laptop. I really didn't need the RAM drive. I installed it because I wanted to. :) Now, I put some often-used executables on it. They worked properly. I also set the Temp folder to the RAM drive. After that, some programs stopped working properly. Apparently, it was due to an out of disk space error. When I set the folder back to the SSD drive, they started working again. My advicde: if you have a recent version of Windows or a lot of programs, don't put the temp folder on a RAM drive.

    how big was the RAM?

it seems nothing went wrong in your description, just u ignored total size. they aren't infinite, after all!!

I think it was 100MB. I have 20GB RAM, so I could make the RAM drive larger, but it as it stands is good enough, and I really don't want to change its size.
