Win2000 and QuickTime

    According to MG, Quicktime runs under all Windows (http://www.majorgeeks.com/Quicktime_d3497.html). According to Apple, Quicktime only runs under WinXP SP2 or Vista (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ and see screenshot below). So, which is it? A friend of mine is running Win2000 SP4 and is trying to watch some Quicktime videos online. I told him about QTAlt but he isn't the brightest bulb in the chandelier and this went right over his head....

    (yeah, I know he just has to install some codecs and Quicktime stuff should play in just about any player, but, again, he's not the brightest candle in the menorah if you know what I mean....)

    Hi dlb

    Your very correct latest QT is only for XP and Vista so you'll need an older version of QT for Win2K, can get the older compatible version here
