Win32 error

What is Win32 and why si it everytime I startup my Sims 2 Game it says that Win32 does not have enough memory to process the application and will now terminate.

 

Try uninstalling, then reinstalling it.

You must make sure there are no left over files and folders, and don't install to the same path, for eg,

If it was C:\Program Files\Sims 2,

Try C:\Games\Sims 2 or C:\Sims 2 or whatever.

 

A good question would be, how much ram do you have installed in your computer?

What about pagefile?

What programs do you have running in the background?

Minimum requirements for this game is 256 Mbytes. I recommend 512 or more.

Some system specs would be quite helpful.

 

It never used to say that though. And it happens all the time. Even When I only got AIM and 1 internet explorer open.

Also 68% of my systems resources are free.

Have you tried what I suggested, it's worked for me in the past?

And don't worry whether it never used to say that or not, file corruption happens.

 

But its not the program. It happens all the time. When ever the sims 2 aint even running.
