Except for some running in the background, my computer does not seem sick.

I run READ ME FIRST every few months and find the same viruses, and now a new one in my Outlook Express. I don't know how to get rid of them because I can't find them. I don't know how to open dbx files to get to them, if this would even be the right way to try and get rid of them in the first place. Could you be so kind as to check my logs for me? Lot of cookies there, but generally clean except for the Outlook Express viruses.
Thanks SO much! (I'm trying to learn and it's slow.)

    <name>.dbx
This represents a user-created mail folder and its messages. So, the emails you are looking for are in the OE Folder named Posteingang.

    Download
    - ExplorerXP

Delete the following file using ExplorerXP:
    C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\OSD149F.OSD

Other than that your logs are clean.

    Hi Shadow,
Thanks for yet another good tool.
As for the other two viruses, I know they are in Posteingang which is the German name for Inbox. I did a search of this everytime I've run Bitdefender and I can't find any of the information, not even "the garden of eden", which ought to spring out in a search. I have attempted getting rid of it by deleting all e-mails with the date it refers to. That didn't work. I don't know how to open dbx files directly from the Windows Explorer of the Inbox (Posteingang). I was thinking if I could do that, I might be able to get to whatever the number is of the e-mail and find a way to delete it that way. I'm guessing it's not an active virus or it would have done some damage by now. The two e-mails are always refered to as message 153 and 154 by Bitdefender, but I haven't a clue what the number refers to.
    thanks much for your help!

You can't open a dbx file with Windows. You may have to go throught the entire Inbox to find them.

    Thanks Shadow,
I think it's not critical since they seem to have been there for 3 years. I've actually done every search I can think of several times. I've gone through every file in Outlook Express using the "find" program of Outlook Express looking in the body of the text, in the subject line, looking for e-mails with that date or even close to it. I did a search of my whole computer looking for the words "Garden of Eden" as part of any file or folder, and the only thing the searches find are the Bit Defender reports. If it's in there, it must be coded and if that's the case, I don't know how to do a search for it. It will keep bugging me, but it's not really worth your time. I will keep hunting for new ways to look for them. Sometimes I think my computer has some secret life of its own going on on the side. <plays music to the Twilight Zone>
    Thanks so much!

    You're welcome.

OE is my least favorite email client. Sometimes it seems to have a mind of it's own.
