    Network printing problem:

I have a home wireless network consisting of 3 computers.... an XP Desktop, VISTA Laptop and Windows 7 Laptop. The network works properly and I can view/update/change all files on any computer from any computer. Two printers are connected to the Desktop PC which I can see from both Laptops. However, I can only print from the VISTA Laptop.

From the Win7 Laptop I see the printers on the Desktop, but can not print. I tried adding a network printer through “Devices & Printers”. Again, it shows me the printers on the Desktop, but when I ‘click’ on either printer…. the system tells me it can’t locate the drivers.

Up until yesterday… when I had to use the restore function, return to the original manufacture’s settings, re-install software and restore my backed up files… I’ve been printing from the Win7 Laptop for several months. The restore went fairly smoothly, and everything else appears normal….. all files on any of the three systems are accessible from any computer.
