Win7 Registration Problem

Going through my emails I came across a key M$ emailed when I back installed Win11? due to keyboard driver conflicts, Problem is the OS can not seem to find the M$ Win7 registration websites. Help?

Is your Win 7 activated? If so you have nothing to worry about. If you want to know its current product key run Belarc Advisor or any keyfinder app.

 

It was originally. Somewhere in the back step my computer lost the registration M$ must have known about the issue else why email me the key?

I think they have shut the registration sites down?

 

So what does it actually say about activation in Control Panel > System?

 

Sorry guys, I have been swamped with medical appointments this week, tomorrow I get up at 4:30 AM to make another one.

 

I tried it after a reboot, All I get is the flat bong indicating connection failed

 

Try clearing your cache ip.

Open start menu.

In search type Command prompt.

In the black box type ipconfig /release this will disable your internet connection for a short time.

Now while still in the command prompt type ipconfig /renew this will assign a new ip address.

After that type ipconfig /flushdns.This will flush your ip's DNS.

Try this and see if this helps.

What do you see under Windows activation?

 

I don't understand. You have twice been asked to tell us what it says about activation in Control Panel > System but have yet to answer the question.

So I click you must activate now, and get the same flat bong indicating failure. With only one hand working I can not do print screen, too long a reach on my keyboard, I am currently mostly typing on my back on a lappie. Looking across the keyboard..

OK got much further than I did in the past. Apparently I accidentally deleted the key I thought I had, and the second key was for a different edition of Win7 ( I have ultimate so baring forgetting every thing I've learned today (with this brainfog a real possibility, The key is "to enter a new keycode, I will save my pennies and buy a new one, I like Win7, I don't see me giving it up anytime soon.

Allow me to rephrase, I strongly doubt this computer will be around in 2020. The owner is a different story.

 

Unbelievable, Insert profanity here. I bought a windows key online. It seemed to reject it but all of a sudden during an upgrade my window is activated. I hate it when I'm not sure what I did to fix something, hence the pseudo cussing. I was watching the news and a woman was seeing a tornado approaching her house in Florida recording it on her phone, Her reaction? Oh Sugar cookies. Turned out OK for her, but I understand her language, bet she had kids.

Now I work on my desktop, which has a hard drive dying a noisy death and I think has scragged itself finally. I have a new desktop in the works
