[Win7 x64] Error 0x80070057; Parameter incorrect.

Hey guys,

Been a while, and I'm back with a question. Just today I've put in a couple of TB's because my Windows-drive was running low on space and I'm lazy. However, I've apparently botched something, somewhere. When trying to move my Users folder I get the above errorcode. (Error 0x80070057; Parameter incorrect.)

So, relevant details:
OS: Win 7 HP, x86-64
Updates: All, including SP1.

What I've tried to fix it:
- Checked the MSKB. Unfortunately their fix doesn't work, as the correct registerkeys and values are all in place and resetting them didn't fix it.
- I've even downloaded the MS Fixit thingy. Didn't work.
- Checked the registry for error, but didn't find anything relevant (there were a few ActiveX issues, but that's it).

So, do you guys have any ideas, except for formatting and doing a clean install?

You could try using a Symbolic link as described in this article.
I'd recommend imaging your system before trying anything. If thinks don't work as expected, it's far easier to restore a working image than troubleshoot all the potential problems.
