   Hello world,
   
   Wondering, if anyone can remember, why cant the outlook icon on a fresh install of office 2000 and win98Se, not be sent to the recycle bin when deleting, noted the icon didnt have the shortcut arrow on it but any particular reason? A notification appeared saying this couldnt be sent to the recycle bin...
   
   Just curious:confused

   Hi
   
   Likely cause is that Outlook just being loaded on a fresh install is running and has hold of the icon so cannot be deleted, try in safe mode to delete.
   
   Or try this as it also applies to Outlook 2000 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321777
