Hi! I think I asked this question here before but couldn't find the post. I am looking for a replacement for a broken Win98SE minitower. I looked on eBay but couldn't find a suitable computer. Where else can I find a good version? I live in the U.S.

Uhh...it is sold out. :( I really want a Win98SE minitower for my mother's house. Where else can I find one?

I thank you, and sorry for the stupid question. I seem to be full of them. :( I am currently watching one of them on eBay. Its hard drives are too big, and I really want to experiment with file compression on it, but it's otherwise pretty good..

You know, I got to say that playing with an old machine like that is just, well, fun.

I found a clone of one of my old machine on the cheap so I pounced on it. Kingston had Rambus modules back in the day that ran at 400 MHz and DDR1 PC-3200 at the time were running at 200 MHz. Ahhh, RIMMS. Very pricey, but they could sprint...
Oh, and anyone who were sold a socket 423 machine should receive a refund on the CPU, lol.

A couple of months ago, somebody here gave me a new Win98SE minitower along with two Win7/32 laptops, some flash drives, USB floppy drives and a spare laptop hard drive. :) The minitower is way better than my needs and even desires. However, they were free, so that's good. :) The next time I'm at my mother's house, I want to stuff the minitower there. I have two flash drives of stuff to install on it right now. One thing I like of Win98 and not on later systems is the color selections: Win98SE allows you to change the colors of virtually every screen element, while modern versions of Windows mostly allows you to select only between light and dark themes. I also like the themes better. :)
