Winamp 5 and NTV

Just as in Wianmp 2.91 (and I even tried in 3.), in Winamp 5 trying to play 99% (I found one NTV stream that works) of any NTV stream, I still get 99% loaded OR 100% load, then 3 seconds playback, then Winamp casued an error Error Box (must click OK) then after clicking OK, Winamp closes.

This behaviour is repeatable, and BTW, I do not get the previously reported Winamp2.91/3.0 REverse/Upside down/BlackVideo but with sound issue. The 3 seconds of Video with Sound is good looking a, sounds great, and is not in reverse and is right-side-up.
Running DirectX 9.xx (latest), 1GB SDRAM, 40GB 7200rpm IDE HD, NVidea Gforce4, Windows2K Pro. Latest updates and bla-d-bla.
