winantivirus pro 2006 (SPYWARE)

I hope somebody can help me with this little problem. Basically what happens is when I turn my computer on and open up internet explorer about a minute later the problem starts. I get a pop-up reading:

"NOTICE: If your computer has been running slower than normal, it may be infected with Viruses, Adware, or Spyware. WinAntiVirus can perform a quick and completely FREE scan of your computer for malicious programs. Download WinAntiVirus FREE Now!"

So what i do is click on the (x) cancel button and what happens next is:

It takes me to http://winantivirus.com/pages/scanner/index.................

So what i do is click on the (x) cancel button and what happens next is I get a another pop-up reading:

"NOTICE: You have not completed Viruses and Spyware scan. If your computer has viruses, spyware, and adware trojans, it can cause your private and billing information leaks, unpredictable or erratic system behavior, freezes, crashes, or permenant damage to your computer.

WinAntiVirus Pro 2006 can perform a quick and completely free scan of your system for viral and spyware infections.

Would you like WinAntiVirus Pro 2006 to scan for, and if found, remove any malicious software now? (Recommended)"

So what i do is click on the (x) cancel button and what happens next is I get a another pop-up reading:

"WinAntiVirus Pro 2006 will scan your system for threats now.

Please select "RUN" or "OPEN" when prompted to start installation

This file has been digitally signed and independently certified as 100% free of viruses, adware, and, spyware"

So what i do is click on the (x) cancel button and what happens next is all of my internet sessions are closed and once again the http://winantivirus.com site comes up and i get a message from the pop-up blocker stating:

"To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from downloading files to your computer. Click her for options"

I would truly appreciate if somebody could help me remove this annoying problem. Thanks in advance.

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
