It’s time to upgrade to windows 10 from windows 7

Right now I have laptop's with windows 7 and moving to a desktop PC with windows 10 installed so now I need to move all my programs, files and settings in to the new PC with windows 10 installed, can this migration be done and be in business tomorrow? What options do I have?

What I know so far is Microsoft easy file transfer but I don't see where the programs go with it, the other is suppose I upgrade the laptop to windows 10 and then clone the drives. Re-installing all my programs will be you know painful what you thing my options are?
    Thanks....MikeG

Regrettably, that is your only option to the best of my knowledge. Pain in the next but there you go!

As said, reinstalling and reconfiguring all your software is the only realistic option.

    Thank you
Is not so painful it just time consuming ! :)
Is it advisable to transfer the settings along with files?

You can't. Just transfer your personal files.
