Window becoming inactive

Hi,

I'd like to know if anyone had similar symptoms. I recently installed Spyware Sweeper and Zone Alarm. They both work fine but I noticed that sometimes an active windows window (for example internet explorer when I am surfing or Microsoft Word when I am writing) becomes inactive for a few seconds. During this period I can't write or click anything. Sometimes, what I wrote during this period is diplayed after the inactivity ends, but sometimes it isn't. I am not sure if one of the previously mentioned softwares are responsable for that problem but this is my observation. Also in 4 of 5 cases windows stopped to shut down itself automatically and I have to press the 0n-off switch for 5-6 seconds to be able to shut-down windows (this also started to happen after installing spyware sweeper and ZA). Any ideas?

I justed wanted to tell you that I've solved my problems (at least for now) I'd like to mention that I recently bought Creative's Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Music edition. As you know it loads a lot of software, and one of them is called dllml.exe. This file, which apparently is required for the remote control unit to work, causes a lot of slow downs, especially in Microsoft Office Software. Ending this process with the task manager solved most of my problems. I still get some inactivity periods but it is bearable.
