Windows 10 Installation

i have/had windows xp 64 bit and upgraded to win 10 ult. i want to return win 10 to "factory" meaning brand new clean fresh install. is it possible to do this without having to reinstall win xp (which does what i want in that it will format c as part of the install) and then upgrading to win 10 again (not even sure how to do that anymore since they have taken away the links for it)

 

mistake, its win 7 ult 64 bit that was the original win installation.

 

Boot windows 7 from disc and follow the instructions then it will format the partition on the hard drive and install windows 7 so it will be a clean fresh installation.

I thought that it was windows xp upgrade to windows 7 thats what I posted back in post #3 but now re-reading it, it looks like now its windows 7 upgrading to windows 10 and if that's the case follow the link posted by eldon.

 

the link you provided gave me the answer i was looking for, simply by going to security and updates tab in control panel and selecting recovery there is an option to reset to a clean install which is exactly what i wanted! my wife likes to play those simple games and uses services like go fish etc and she has 175 applications with a huge amount of garbage i told here it was time for a factory reset. and this option allows me to put all the exe files for the mother board and graphics card etc on the secondary drive
