    Hi guys,

I read somewhere that it is best to stop updates on Windows 10 for security reasons. My PC is too old to be turned into windows 11.

Sounds sensible but is it true and is it something I should be doing? If yes, how?

    ‘thanks heaps legends

To jacknscoob: as long as you're still using Windows 10, it would seem to make sense that you keep installing Microsoft's updates. I am doing this with a Windows 10 Lenovo AIO that began its life running Windows 8.

To dr.bugman: your question should probably have been in a new post. That being said, the answer would be 'yes' and, to forestall your next question:

If you are on Windows 10 you shouldn't stop updates if there is a update for windows 11 and your computer cant run it then it won't update to windows 11.
