Windows 10 Macro Recorder

Does anyone know of a Windows 10 Macro Recorder that works right and doesn't cost an "arm and a leg"?

I have found some by searching, but they are all (so far) either almost $100, won't execute at all, or their author does not respond to emails.

Mainly for keystroke recording...wasn't concerned so much about the mouse.

Mainly what I am doing is copying a filename from a file in Notepad and pasting it into a filename-save box in Eudora. This needs to happen a varying number of times (depending on how much mail there is).

In AHK you could use https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands/FileReadLine.htm then change programs with https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands/WinActivate.htm then send what ever keystrokes you need. Just a high level look at what you are trying to do.
