Windows 10 Password Problem

Hi all. I need HELP! I have Windows 10 which suddenly is requesting a password to logon. I previously eliminated having to log in by turning off this feature, but suddenly it now asks for my password. I entered it and I get "password is incorrect, try again". I tried my password several times without success, then tried every password I ever thought of, without success. I googled what to do and I found "7 ways to access your computer if you've forgotten the password".
No. 1 was using another computer, logging in to my Microsoft account and change the password. Did that and got the same error message.
No. 2 was "Changing password in Safe Mode". Went through all the steps, but when it got to step 4, instead of going to the Administrator login screen it goes back to the original login asking for the password. Can't get past step 4.
The rest of the methods have to do with using a Password Reset Disc which I don't have, or is about Macs.
One more interesting tidbit. When I restart the screen has 3 little icons in the lower right. One is the power, the next is the Ease of Access, and the third is Internet. After a minute or so after I restart the internet icon gets a little red circle with an X, meaning no internet connection. I guess it times out or something.

Did your computer ask for local user password or Microsoft account password? If it's Microsoft account, you can reset it online from your smartphone:
https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx

An alternative solution is to take use of system restore, bring your system back to a point when it didn't ask you for password.
