    Hi!
I've been visiting your forum for years. Specially your malware removal guide I found it wonderful and helped me a lot. Now I have some issues with my Win10 that I think it is not related with malware.

Just upgraded to Win10 Pro x64 a couple of days ago from Win 7 x64 (I think Ultimate version). Every time I reboot I receive a warning from Activity Center saying that "Security Center is not enabled". I go to services and find this

Although it is in spanish you can see that most of the services are like not readable and there is an "error reading description. Error code: 2" When you click on one of them a warning pops up saying that "system cannot find specified file". Weird thing is that the system is not behaving in strange way. Well, I feel it slower than with Win 7 but I don't think it is related to this. On the other side I think there are some services missig like the "Security Center Service" which I couldn't locate to activate it.

I ran a sfc.exe /scannow and everything looked good. I run Malwarebytes updated and AVG updated to be sure I wasn't infected. All looked good. I have internet, I can share files with my other computers... well, so far all looks good.

    Is that normal?

Attached to this post is all my system info.

Thanks for your time and help.

Do you see this same issue in Safe Mode?

Yes. Yesterday I tested it and tried to fix it from safe mode. Although the option to start the service was available (normally it is greyed) I couldn't start it because a prompt said that It's not possible in safe mode. The appearance and messages of the window were exactly the same as posted here.

Huh... now that you say... I remember updating CCC because I didn't want Win10 to install their drivers. Unfortunately The machine was behaving so wrong that I did go back to Win7 and forth again to Win10. So far everything looks good but I'll check out the article before I do something with CCC.

    Thanks!

Glad you got everything sorted out. :)

Definitely look at CCC. It looks like maybe there was a bad install or something?
