Windows 10 Settings/find A Setting Search Feature Not Working

    Folks,

    On my Windows 10 laptop, the Settings/Find a Setting feature no longer works. I have no idea how long it has been inoperative for. As soon as I type in a single letter, "No results for . . ."pops up (actually pops down). I've tried the troubleshooters and various on-line suggestions, without luck.

    Can anyone help? Am I in the right place? Thanks.
