I have a Windows 2003 server handling DHCP and DNS for approx 180 computers, mostly Win XP. I plan to purchase new laptops with Windows 7. Will Windows 7 be able to login to our domain, and receive DHCP and DNS properly? Many thanks!

    The fast answer is yes.
Just be sure to avoid the homenetworking option.

Just make sure you connect them all using the "work" network profile, then the homegroup problem is avoided.

Also, if you do not have IPv6 implemented yet, I would recommend you disable it in the adapter properties.
