Windows 7 Antivirus 2012 Simple Removal

I'm sure there are several threads about removal on this already but I downloaded no antivirus software and found removal relatively simple with this method.

There are tons of names for this virus so if anyone has a list I will edit my post with all other names.

Here are my steps:

As soon as I had the popups for the virus I tried to run system restore and got an error along the lines of 'rstrui.exe does not exist'.

I then ran regedit.exe

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > .exe > Shell > open > command

Here I deleted the default key.

I then went to

Start > Computer>Local Disk > Users > "username" > AppData >* Local

Here I deleted the exe files. I had 1. There can be up to 3 or so.

Initially I got an error saying they were in use by 'script profiler' so I went to task manager processes and ended anything who's description said script profiler. Then the delete worked.

Empty the recycling bin.

Restart.

I then tried to run the System Restore which this time asked me to select a program to open System Restore with. I then navigated to C:\Windows\system32 where I right clicked rstrui.exe

and selected 'run as administrator'.

The System restore ran fine at this time and I restored to my most recent point from before the virus, which happened to be yesterday.

I'm sure there are plenty of users here that spend time on other security forums. Please repost this there or in a blog or anywhere. Blast this simple solution all over the internet please.
