Windows 7 Blank Screen

    Hey,

    i have windows 7 installed on my friends pc. what really happens is windows boots up but end up in a blank screen with mouse cursor.

    According to him mouse or keyboard is not working. but i haven't really personally seen it.

    so can anyone suggest some solution. both for blank screen with keyboard and mouse working and a blank screen with mouse and keyboard not working.

    help will be appriciated.

    Hi Adam try booting into safe mode
    Pressing F8 on boot then in Windows Advanced Options scroll down to Safe Mode then press enter ! Lets us know what happens
