Hello All, It is possible yesterday when I was searching for a specific download I was slipped some malicious code. I shut down my laptop last night before bed and now this morning it boots straight into the bios. Although my laptop is small in memory size I can't afford to loose my files. If someone can be kind enough to walk me through getting recovery assistance, I would be very grateful. I do have some windows 7 discs but I will need to verify whether they are 32 or 64 bit.I did non't create any backup discs. Thanks in advance.OS windows 7 pro 32 bit

Check the Esc, F2 or Delete keys. One might be stuck.

I suspect In my efforts to get my computer to boot I made an inproper selection in the boot bios screen. I popped out my keyboard and disconnected the ribbon tape to the keyboard.Thank you Eldon, I am now seeing a screen saying Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media device and press a key.
