Windows 7 Crashing

Some time ago i moved my tower to a different room in my house and from that day on i noticed my PC would occasionally not start up properly. Let me elaborate

after all that passes the PC would then just jam with some weird lines at the top of the screen.
basically screen would remain black and there would be some strange irregular lines going horizontally across the screen from the very top till about 1/2cm down.
I would have to restart my PC and then it would always load properly but once at desktop it would give me a warning that the PC didnt shutdown properly.

I reformatted to fix it and now i get I will occasionally get a blue screen during the boot up. Windows attempts to run a repair thing and tells me it cannot fix the problem.
The event/problem name is Startuprepairoffline.

I click next or whatever, just to get the PC to load up till desktop where i get a window saying 'windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown.

Problem event name = BlueScreen
