Windows 7 - Detect flash or hard drive from bat file

    System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit SP1

    In a bat file I want to detect if a drive is connected to a USB port AND if the drive is a flash drive or hard drive. I cannot use 'fsutil' since this requires the account to be in the Administrator group which cannot be done in Windows 7 Home Premium. Any other ideas?
