Windows 7 Home Admin issues profile conflict

Like others here that have posted about their admin rights issues, I too am having a problem but mine is a slightly different case.

I am the only owner to the laptop and log in automatically at start up. I have admin rights and when I look inside control/panel/user accounts, I have one profile.

the problem I am having is, I can not just double click a program and install it, nor can I update Firefox easily or other programs. I can however use the Run as Admin option and do all of these functions. I can also access all admin privileges. I have control to everything but just can't seem to install anything without evoking the "Run as Administrator"

After looking into users profiles within C: I noticed in addition to my OWNER profile, I have a public profile, and a profile called UpdatusUser.

Then I investigated users within the system properties. Under the Advanced tab and then under User Profile settings I have three profiles.
Default Profile, LBOWNER-PC\Owner and LBOWNER-PC\UpdatusUser

So this is where I think I'm having the issues. A few months ago I renamed my default PC label to LBOWNER. I did this because I was having some ip conflict issues and when resolving them I needed to know which PC was mine on the network. It seems to me because I never made an actual user but simply changed the PC computer label, it may have confused windows 7 and stripped some of my permissions and added profiles. These profiles are not account profiles however. I think they are hardware profiles.

Can I simply remove the LB and everything will go back to normal. And if not, what can I do to resolve the issue to regain these privileges back?
