Windows 7 Internet Explorer Avgbrowsercore

    I did a factory reinstall of windows 7 and had to use Internet Explorer to download AVG Antivirus.

    The AVG installer offered to install Google Chrome not the AVG secure browser.

    I used chrome to download the AVG browser.

    I set the AVG browser not to run at startup.

    Now I have "AVG BrowserCore" running at startup.

    The command is "....AVGBrowserUpdateCore.exe"

    Is Avg BrowserCore Safe?
