Windows 7 Logging out over and over...

This problem is making me crazy. I have Windows 7 Premium Home and when my husband signs into his login, it will lock after a minute. He isn't idle, it just goes back to the login page after a minute.
It isn't the screen saver, it's not set to go back to the login page when idle. It just keeps happening. Over and over again. What could be causing this? Any ideas?

If there is more than one account on the computer, is this the only account that this behavior occurs? Does the same behavior occur in safe mode?

Also, I found this

Right click anywhere on the desktop, and go to Personalize. On the bottom-right of the window, click "Screen Saver". There's a box underneath the screen saver drop-down list that says "On resume, display logon screen". Make sure it's unchecked.
I didn't have a screen saver set, but this box was still logging me off after one minute.

This isn't the only account on the computer. I didn't have a problem when I was signed in. This started happening after my husband switched to his account.

I saw the same info about the screen saver. It wasn't checked off. The computer wasn't idle either. As a matter of fact, I was typing the OP when it happened.

I restarted the computer last night before turning the computer off for the night and the problem stopped. I have no idea what was causing it still but at least it stopped. For now. :confused
