Windows 7 Starter

Hi, I'm new.

I'm running W7 starter on a netbook.

Is there a way to change the pic on my desktop?

I've tried all the usual stuff, but I'm just not getting it done.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Starter edition is severely crippled compared to Home Premium. You can change the background but it is not easy and if you not familiar with editing the registry and messing with permissions, leave well enough alone.

Edit: you may want to look at option #3.

 

I am used to regedit.

This gave me enough that I've gotten it changed and it looks great!
