Windows 7 starting WD My Book

When i start Windows 7 Home Premium 32 he starts automaticly WD My Book.
How can i disable this start command?

The easiest way (at least in my opinion) would be to disconnect the Western Digital my Book from your computer.

Go to this link and see the section on the left which is entitled "Connecting the Drive and Getting Started" and do the opposite in order to disconnect.

Side Note: I use a Western Digital external drive and never connect it unless I'm actually using it. It not only extends the life of the drive but it is much safer in the event of a power surge.

As far as I can remember was the installation in 2006 of the WD 2500JB plug and play.
For years I had to switch, if necessary, My Book on and off but at some point Windows XP took over => XP on/off My Book was swtiched on/off! With the Windows 7 PC exactly the same!
Somewhere in the "dark caverns" of Windows should something be changed making the on/off switching by PC no longer take place so that I can determine when My Book is turned on or off.

This is by default.
Windows will automatically send a command to the drive when connected.

Windows send a command to the drive....
Please how can i disable this command?
