Hi my friend , welcome to MG's :major

You can go to Start - Run typing devmgmt.msc - ok , is there any ? over there ? If yes you have to follow this

right click to yellow question mark - Properties - Details - scroll down the bar menu to find Hardware Ids and post here the code :wave

If there are no audio drivers on the MSI site that support Windows 7, then download the drivers listed for XP 32bit. These are usually in a ZIP file.

Unzip the folder, and note where it is. The Set-up routine will not work, but the drivers may still work with Windows 7. All the drivers will be in the unzipped folder, you will just have to install them manually.

I had to do that when I put Win 7 on a P4P800SE board I have. That board has Soundmax audio. As I recall the only issue I had were the audio drivers, in fact. Board works great with Windows 7.

Meant to put this in my post, but forgot: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads...=23&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

You can get generic drivers for Realtek audio IC's here. In fact, I suggest you try this first. There are drivers listed for the AC97 audio that are Windows 7 compatable, but like the site says, the generic driver "may not offer the customizations made by your system/motherboard manufacturer."
